Kauaʻi Coffee Company Appoints Mark Bogner as New GM Following New 15-Year Lease – CoffeeTalk

Kauaʻi Coffee Company has appointed Mark Bogner as its new general manager, succeeding Brian Kubicki, who acted in the role for the past year. Bogner brings over 30 years of agricultural experience, technical expertise, and a collaborative leadership style, which Kubicki noted will significantly benefit the team and the company’s future. This leadership change follows the company’s recent acquisition of a 15-year lease for its 3,100-acre plantation on the island’s west side, alleviating concerns about the future of the nation’s largest coffee farm.

Previously, Bogner served as a consultant for Kauaʻi Coffee, offering operational guidance. He was also a farm operations manager for Hartung Brothers in Kekaha and actively participates in Hawaiʻi’s agricultural sector through various roles, including that with the Hawaiʻi Crop Improvement Association and the Kauaʻi Farm Bureau. Expressing enthusiasm for his new role, Bogner highlighted his admiration for the dedication of the employees and his commitment to enhancing the legacy of Kauaʻi Coffee.

Additionally, the company revealed plans for its annual Kauaʻi Community Appreciation Event on August 15, intended to celebrate and acknowledge the support of employees, residents, community leaders, and customers.
