Café Grumpy Partners with Oishii on Limited-Edition Strawberry Beverage Menu Featuring Koyo Berry – CoffeeTalk
Café Grumpy, the woman-owned specialty coffee company that has been a staple of New York City since 2005, announces an exclusive collaboration with Oishii, the pioneering vertical farm celebrated for its extraordinary strawberries. This May, Café Grumpy’s Grand Central Terminal and Weehawken locations will offer three limited-edition beverages crafted with Oishii’s Koyo Berry – a collaboration between two local makers who focus on quality.
Oishii’s Koyo Berry, whose name means “elated” in Japanese, is the second strawberry varietal from the New Jersey-based indoor farm. Grown in a meticulously controlled environment, the Koyo is known for its slightly firm texture, bright aroma, eye-opening flavor, and refreshing sweetness.
The Limited-Edition Menu (available May 1-31 or while supplies last) includes an Oishii Koyo Berry Latte, Iced Latte with Cold Foam and Caffeine-free Iced Oishii Berry Hibiscus Tea.
