JUNE: Reimagines Pour-Over with Thermal Stability & Extraction Consistency – CoffeeTalk
Shelbru, a Seattle-based coffee gear company, recently introduced JUNE, a next-generation pour-over dripper designed to bring greater consistency and control to manual brewing.
Built for coffee enthusiasts who want more repeatable results without compromising the craft of pour-over, JUNE takes a systems-level approach to brewing. Its double-wall vacuum-insulated stainless steel body helps maintain a more stable brewing temperature, while 12 concave ribs are designed to optimize airflow and water movement through the coffee bed. At the base, the detachable Aroma Flow™ system provides a precisely centered outflow, opening the door to more controlled aroma-focused brewing setups.
Together, these elements are designed to address one of the fundamental challenges of pour-over coffee: reproducing the same brewing conditions from one cup to the next.
⏵ Stability Starts with Temperature
Temperature plays a critical role in extraction, yet conventional drippers can continuously exchange heat with the surrounding environment throughout the brew.
JUNE uses a double-wall vacuum-insulated stainless steel structure to reduce heat loss and create a more thermally stable brewing environment. By helping maintain brewing temperature throughout extraction, JUNE is designed to give brewers greater control and consistency from the first pour to the final drawdown.
⏵ Designed for More Consistent Extraction
Inside JUNE, 12 concave ribs create defined air and water channels around the filter. The geometry is designed to encourage more consistent water movement through the coffee bed while helping reduce bypass.
The result is a dripper designed not simply to move water through coffee, but to make the flow behavior more predictable – giving brewers a more repeatable foundation for dialing in different coffees.
⏵ Precision Outflow for Aroma-Focused Brewing
JUNE’s detachable Aroma Flow™ system adds another layer of control at the point where brewed coffee leaves the dripper.
By directing the outflow toward the center, Aroma Flow™ is designed to work with aroma-focused brewing accessories and vessels, including the ICOSA Avensi Cyclone and Nucleus Paragon. The system can also be removed, giving brewers flexibility in how they configure their setup.
JUNE is additionally designed to work with the HARIO Switch, allowing brewers to experiment beyond traditional pour-over techniques and explore immersion-style brewing.
⏵ More Than a Dripper
For Shelbru, JUNE represents a broader philosophy: coffee equipment should solve real brewing problems rather than simply add complexity.
“We’re here to create serious coffee tools for real brewing.”
That philosophy has guided Shelbru since its founding. Based in Seattle, the company develops coffee equipment for people who care about how their coffee is brewed – creating tools designed to perform reliably, withstand everyday use, and make a meaningful difference in the brewing experience.
Shelbru first entered the crowdfunding space in 2021 with the successful launch of its Cold Brew System 1.0 on Indiegogo. The following year, the company continued its crowdfunding journey on Wadiz. Since then, Shelbru has expanded its portfolio with products including the Smart Canister and Sifter, while growing its presence across the United States, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, and the Middle East.
Now, in 2026, Shelbru returns to crowdfunding with JUNE – its vision for the next generation of pour-over brewing.
