Coffee Works Express highlights successful MICE26 – BeanScene
Equipment distributor Coffee Works Express (CWE) has reflected on the 2026 Melbourne International Coffee Expo, noting the event brought together “an inspiring community of coffee professionals innovators, and enthusiasts, creating a vibrant space for connection and discovery.”
Partnering with a lineup of specialty roasters proved to be a highlight, with CWE noting each delivered an outstanding job of serving truly memorable, high-quality coffees that kept visitors coming back for more.
“Our Slayer brew bar was exceptionally well received, drawing strong interest from attendees and creating a hub of activity across the show,” says CWE.
The distributor was also joined by the likes of World Barista Champions Jack Simpson and Pete Licata as ambassadors for grinder manufacturer Mazzer throughout MICE.
“Their expertise and approachability helped bring our equipment to life, as they guided attendees through the features and performance of the new MINI, MINI G, PHILOS, and Super Jolly G,” says CWE.
Several standout machines generated strong attention across the stand, with Franke’s New A Line proving to be a major hit with attendees, while the new Wega Polar, Rover, and Astoria AB200, also drawing significant interest for their design, performance, and versatility in busy café environments.
Throughout the expo, CWE had the opportunity to showcase its latest offerings, engage in meaningful conversations, and gain valuable insights into emerging trends shaping the industry.
“The energy on the floor was electric, and it was rewarding to see such enthusiasm and curiosity from attendees,” says the company.
“MICE2026 reinforced the strength and creativity of the coffee community, and we’re excited to carry that momentum forward into the year ahead.”
