Amy wanted to play with the idea of inviting the World Latte Art Championship judges into her classroom for this year’s designs.

“Rather than just presenting a routine, I wanted it to feel like a real teaching session – sharing how I approach design and detail in a practical, hands-on way,” she says.

As part of that, Amy introduced a feature technique she often uses called ‘spin and drag’, applying it across her three original designs to highlight how small movements can shape the
final result.

“The sheep was the first design I chose to present, because it naturally lends itself to both texture and structure,” she says.

“The wool is perfect for a stacked, wheat-like pattern, which allows me to build up that soft, fluffy texture through controlled layering and flow. It’s a great way to demonstrate how repetition and rhythm can create depth without losing clarity.

“From the softness of the wool to the precision of the lines and the expression in the face, the sheep reflects how I like to balance control, detail, and personality in my work.”
