Patio Coffee Roasters to host National Aeropress Championship – BeanScene
Australia’s 2026 National AeroPress Championship will take place on 16 May, hosted at Adelaide’s Patio Coffee Roasters, with the winner set to go on to represent Australia on the world stage.
The AeroPress, first created by Stanford University engineer Alan Adler, has been a mainstay in the coffee brewing space since 2005.
Last year’s winner of the Australian AeroPress Championship, Némo Pop, went on to be named World AeroPress Champion in South Korea in December 2025.
Last year’s national competition saw 24 competitors battle it out in front of more than 200 spectators, with Melbourne roasters Proud Mary and Fieldwork Coffee joining forces to host the event.
