IWCAA to host Australian coffee farm tour – BeanScene

To celebrate the 2026 International Year of The Woman Farmer, The International Woman’s Coffee Alliance Australia (IWCAA) is hosting a two-day tour of subtropical coffee farms on 27 and 28 August.

The event will include a tour of Zentveld’s Farm in Newry Bar, New South Wales. Led by Rebecca Zentveld, the tour will focus on regenerative coffee farming techniques and current World Coffee Research trials taking place in Australia.

Attendees will have the chance to visit Wirui Estate, home of Zeta’s Coffee, in Carool, New South Wales during peak harvest mode.

The tour will continue up into Miami, Queensland at That’s Whyld Coffee with free community cuppings to showcase local Australian-grown coffee and female led farms.

The 2026 International Year of The Woman Farmer highlights the essential role that women play across agriculture.

The event aims to provide visibility to the Australian coffee industry while spotlighting women leading in the agricultural space.

The IWCAA says the initiative showcases decades of female leadership in Australian coffee and farming, and offers hands-on engagement alongside the opportunity to connect with the growing IWCAA network.

“Women farmers globally are central to food security, nutrition and economic resilience” the IWCAA said on social media.
