580,000 Glass Coffee Mugs Recalled Because They Can Break When Filled With Hot Liquid

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a voluntary recall of 580,000 JoyJolt-branded “Declan Single Wall Glass Coffee Mugs” due to dozens of burn and laceration injuries reported by consumers. The recalled glasses can crack or break when filled with hot liquids, resulting in 56 injuries. The mugs were sold online from September 2019 to May 2022 in sets of six for between $20 and $25. The recalled glasses have model number JG10242 and can be found on the side of the products’ packaging and order confirmation. Consumers are urged to stop using the mugs and contact MM Products for a full refund. Registration is available online at JoyJolt’s recall page. The company emphasized that safety is their top priority and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of affected customers.
