La Marzocco and Porsche unveil limited-edition Linea Micra espresso machine – BeanScene
Porsche and Italian espresso machine manufacturer La Marzocco have unveiled its second collaborative collection, bringing together automotive design and specialty coffee craftsmanship through a limited-edition Linea Micra espresso machine and Pico coffee grinder inspired by the iconic Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7.
Officially launched on 29 October 2026 at the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen, Germany, the Porsche x La Marzocco collection translates the distinctive styling of the classic sports car into a range of home coffee equipment, accessories, and lifestyle products.
The Linea Micra is available in three historic Porsche colour combinations: Grand Prix White – Green, Tangerine – Black and Grand Prix White – Blue.
Each features the distinctive Carrera RS lettering and historic Porsche logo, alongside design details inspired by the car, including a cup rail referencing its famous rear spoiler, known as the ‘ducktail’.
Further details include black handles laser-engraved with ‘RS’ and ‘2.7’ markings, analogue pressure gauges with red and green indicators, and a magnetic RS 2.7 badge. Each machine also carries a limited-edition plaque marked ‘One of 911′.
Director Brand Management and Partnerships at Porsche AG Deniz Keskin says the collaboration builds on the brands’ shared focus on precision engineering, craftsmanship and design.
“With our first joint collection in 2024, Porsche and La Marzocco showed how to seamlessly combine the worlds of sports cars, design and coffee culture,” he says.
“What unites both brands is a passion for outstanding design, precise craftsmanship and the ambition to create something extraordinary.”
La Marzocco Chief Marketing Officer Chris Salierno says the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 provided inspiration to reinterpret the Linea Micra through the shared values of both brands.
“A perfect espresso is not the result of a single step, but of the precise interplay of many details. This is exactly where we see a strong connection with Porsche,” he says.
Designed for home baristas, the Linea Micra combines La Marzocco’s professional espresso machine engineering with a compact format and accessible operation.
Features include a convertible three-in-one portafilter, insulated steam wand, two-litre water tank, LED barista lights, and connectivity through the La Marzocco Home app, which allows users to adjust temperature, settings and schedules.
The matching Pico coffee grinder adopts the same design language and features an adjustable magnetic portafilter fork and auto-close bean hopper.
The collection also includes handcrafted espresso and cappuccino cups, barista towels, coasters, coffee canisters, hoodies, T-shirts, caps and socks.
Collectors can also purchase 1:18-scale Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 model cars, complete with miniature coffee machines.
The Linea Micra in Grand Prix White – Green and Tangerine – Black is limited to 911 units each, while the Grand Prix White – Blue edition is exclusive to Germany and limited to 150 units.
Available from 30 October 2026 through the Porsche online shop, selected Porsche Centres and Porsche Design Stores, the Linea Micra retails for €5,790 (approximately AUD$9,189) and the Pico grinder for €1,550 (approximately AUD$2,460).
