This Ingenious Coffee Briefcase Makes Carrying Multiple Hot Drinks A Breeze – CoffeeTalk

Mexico City-based product-development consultancy NOS Design has developed a new way to carry drinks, a thermoformed clamshell briefcase that opens to reveal three cup slots for various-size drinks. The briefcase is made of compostable paper pulp, which insulates the beverage temperature and can carry up to six stacked small drinks at once. The lightweight design makes transporting multiple drinks more secure and convenient than the open-face four-cup carrier tray. The briefcase snaps shut for security, has a built-in handle, and can be branded with a logo. NOS sees its delivery briefcase as a solution for reducing waste by being used for multiple orders by couriers and delivery companies. Once the briefcase no longer has its integrity, it can be recycled or composted. This innovative packaging could benefit coffee, as beverage makers have recently turned to paperboard and cardboard carriers for selling multipacks of soda and alcohol without plastic rings.
