Author Robert Schneider has released the third book in its series titled Café Cool. It features a curated selection of 39 cafés and coffee shops and roasteries in 26 cities around the world, illustrated with full-colour images. The curated selection shares a focus on modern contemporary designs, interior designs, and showcases independent, local coffee hubs that sit at the heart of communities.
The book features insightful commentary by the owners, and designers capture the feel and personality of each project. This book is a homage to Robert’s belief that it is vital to continue to support and appreciate quality coffee in cafés and coffee shops that exhibit feel-good, inspiring designs.
The book highlights cafés including Coutume in Paris, Nemesis Coffee in Vancouver, Grounds + RNCR Roastery in Prague, Nagasawa Coffee in Morioka, and more.
Robert lives and studies art, architecture, design, and photography in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States.
Schneider’s first title was Coffee Culture: hot coffee + cool spaces that presented coffee shop designs from across the US. His follow-up title was Café Culture: for lovers of coffee and good design, where he expanded on the theme by showcasing a new collection of designs, including from Australia and New Zealand, Europe, China, South Korea, Japan, Britain, and North America.
Café Cool is available for purchase worldwide.
