Toby's Estate, La Marzocco enter exclusive partnership – BeanScene

All Toby’s Estate’s flagship cafés will now use La Marzocco machines following the announcement of a new exclusive partnership between the roaster and machine manufacturer.

Since launching in 2005, Toby’s Estate flagship Chippendale café and roastery has been the recipient of a string of national and international awards recognising its quality, including being named the World’s Best Coffee Shop in 2025, and ranking fifth on the same list in 2026.

The roaster also operates flagships in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy, and Newstead in Brisbane.

La Marzocco has labelled the installation of the Strada at Toby’s Estate Chippendale as the start of an “exciting new chapter” between the two leaders in Australia’s coffee scene.

“We’re proud to celebrate the beginning of our exclusive partnership with Roby’s Estate, marked by the arrival of their customer Strada S at their iconic Chippendale flagship venue,” a statement from La Marzocco reads.

“Recently named in the global top five of the 2026 World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops, Toby’s Estate Chippendale isn’t just a café and roastery – it’s a cornerstone of the community, playing a defining role in Sydney’s specialty coffee story since 2005.
More than 20 years on, it now stands as a globally recognised specialty coffee destination.
