Lavazza Group has unveiled Tablì, an innovative system that aims to transform the single-serve coffee segment. During a recent presentation, CEO Antonio Baravalle introduced this new product designed to enhance the coffee-drinking experience.

According to Baravalle, the coffee industry is facing complex challenges in a volatile macroeconomic and geopolitical context, particularly marked by rising raw material costs. He emphasized that quality is fundamental to the brand and remains the cornerstone of trust with consumers, even as the company continues to absorb high costs. Baravalle noted that Lavazza Group has shown resilience and adaptability, achieving solid results in 2024.

He also highlighted the company’s commitment to research and development, despite the economic challenges of the year, which include record increases in raw material prices and import tariffs in the United States. As Lavazza approaches its 130th anniversary, Baravalle expressed enthusiasm about relaunching with the Tablì system, introducing a new product category—the ‘tab’ made of 100% coffee—within the strategic single-serve segment.

The Tablì system signifies a notable turning point for Lavazza and the coffee market by delivering a new drinking experience through a tab made entirely of coffee, paired with a newly designed coffee machine featuring an innovative delivery system. This launch aims to address a gap in the current market and provide an enhanced coffee experience for consumers.

With consumer preferences increasingly leaning towards convenience without compromising quality, Lavazza’s Tablì system is positioned to redefine single-serve coffee, reflecting the company’s mission to remain competitive in the evolving global coffee landscape.
