Soul Origin expanding into energy drinks – BeanScene

Soul Origin has added a limited-time range of Red Bull-based drinks to its menu, each of which contain a full 250mL can of Red Bull.

Available across all the chain’s 176 stores from 17 September, the range includes three ice-blended drinks – Mango Charge, Blueberry Boost, and Berry Burst, with the latter only available through the brand’s online ‘secret menu’.

All three are priced at $10 and have been released in collaboration with NRLW and Australian Rugby League player, Jamie Chapman.

The range has been named ‘Charge it like Chappo’ after the Rugby League star, who now joins fellow athletes Jarome Luai and Ellie Carpenter as faces of the brand.

National Coffee Manager at Soul Origin Sam Taylor says the limited time release has been created to test the waters beyond the brand’s more typical coffee offering.

“We’re testing a new $10 premium blended beverage price point and a completely different beverage occasion for Soul Origin, whilst collaborated with a globally recognised brand in Red Bull,” he says.
