MILKLAB and Allpress Espresso have announced a new partnership that will see the plant-based milk brand’s Almond, Oat, and Lactose Free products used at the specialty roaster’s venues across Australia.

“Allpress has always been about more than the coffee in the cup – it’s about the entire experience we create for our customers and café partners. Partnering with MILKLAB felt like a natural extension of that philosophy. We wanted an alternative milk offering that matches our standard, and MILKLAB does exactly that,” says Emma Read, Brand Lead at Allpress Espresso Australia.

Both brands say this new collaboration reflects their commitments to elevating great coffee across the country.

“This partnership is about the perfect alignment in values, in standards, and in what we believe the barista experience should be. Allpress is a name that carries real weight in this industry, and being the milk behind their bar isn’t something we take lightly. We’re excited to be building something together,” says Melanie Ung, Brand Manager at MILKLAB.

For more than a decade, MILKLAB has worked alongside the coffee industry to create a range of plant-based milks designed to deliver to the demands of the espresso bar. It describes the new partnership with Allpress as “the next step in that trajectory”.

Allpress Espresso has been raising coffee standards for almost 30 years and now has cafés and roasteries in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and Japan. It says it’s reputation has been built on “an unwavering commitment to flavour, long-term sourcing relationships at origin, a signature hot air roasting method, and genuine investment in the independent cafés that carry its coffee”.
