Local Coffee Business Committed to Supporting Women-Owned Farms

Cafecita Coffee, a Los Angeles-based coffee shop, is dedicated to empowering women in the coffee industry. The shop sources its coffee from sustainable, women-owned farms and co-ops in places like Chiapas, Mexico. Women make up 70% of the manual labor on coffee farms but are less represented as decision-makers or owners. Cafecita Coffee is the only roaster in the country sourcing exclusively from women-owned farms and remains the only one focused on women’s empowerment. A percentage of every sale is dedicated to supporting women’s non-profits globally. The coffee shop offers products and merchandise for purchase online and at cafes across Los Angeles.
