Cuban Espresso Ranked As Top Coffee Preparation Globally – CoffeeTalk
Taste Atlas has ranked Cuban espresso as the top coffee preparation globally, ahead of 80 other recognized options. Cuban espresso, a unique type of pre-sweetened espresso, is rated 4.6 stars out of five, based on roasting, fermentation, and sensory details. Cuban espresso is a popular and widely available beverage in Latin America and Florida. The preparation consists of a sweetened shot of espresso, blending dark roasts with brown sugar, resulting in a light brown foam on top of the coffee. Cuban-style espresso is considered a mid-afternoon classic, often served with a glass of water.
Indian filter coffee is the second-placed coffee, with a 4.4-star rating. The filter consists of two chambers, one for ground coffee and the other for brewed coffee, resulting in a full-bodied, intensely flavored coffee. The remaining top positions are occupied by freddo espresso from Greece, cappuccino from Turin, Italian ristretto, Vietnamese iced coffee, Italian espresso, Turkish coffee, and frappé coffee from Thessaloniki.
