Cimbali To Introduce Generative AI Into Is Next Generation Of Espresso Machines – CoffeeTalk

Cimbali Group is set to integrate generative AI technology into its professional espresso machines through a partnership with Visup, a tech-based innovation company. The LaCimbali S30, a fully-automatic coffee machine, will provide technicians with a practical tool to reduce machine intervention times and streamline complex operations. The machine will use Genuin, a generative AI-powered digital assistant developed by Visup’s flagship brand Things5, to customize every preparation to match user preferences, including coffee intensity and personalised flavour profiles. The technology was unveiled at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. Cimbali Group’s group services director, Edgardo Ferrero, praised the collaboration as an evolutionary leap for the industry, demonstrating how digital innovation can unlock new possibilities in traditional sectors like coffee.
