2027 US Barista Championship Schedule Announced – CoffeeTalk

The 2027 U.S. Barista Championships kicks off this October with a series of key events spanning from late October 2026 to January 2027, highlighting skilled baristas across the nation.

The South/Central Qualifiers will take place from October 30 to November 1, 2026, in Houston, Texas, with 24 competitor spots available. Registration for this event opens on September 16, 2026, at 1 PM CT.

Following this, the West Qualifiers are scheduled for November 19-21, 2026, at Mixed Grounds in San Diego, California, also offering 24 competitor spots. Registration for the West Qualifiers begins on September 18, 2026, at 1 PM PT.

The National Championships are set for January 28-31, 2027, at Pinewood Coffee Co. in Franklin, Tennessee, with limited spots for 18 competitors. Notably, the top six finalists from the 2026 National Championship are guaranteed their entry for three days after registration opens. After this window, any unclaimed spots will become available to the public.

The Order of Late Registration (OLS) will close at 5 PM CT on October 7, 2026.
