Single O collabs on limited release single origin coffee – BeanScene
Single O has partnered with social enterprise Two Good Co to release a limited edition Colombian single origin coffee in a collaboration that connects women at both ends of the supply chain.
Named Colombia El Tambo – after the region the coffee is grown, the coffee is a washed Castillo and Colombia variety with notes of chocolate and toffee, and is grown by the women of Asociación de Mujeres Agropecuarias de Uribe (ASMUCAFE), a collection of women farmers and landowners reinvesting coffee premiums back into their community to expand opportunities for more women to participate and lead.
Single O Co-Founder, Emma Cohen, says the work done by both Two Good and ASMUCAFE is aligned with the roaster’s mission.
In Cauca, the women of ASMUCAFE are producing exceptional coffees while backing more women to step forward in their community,” she says.
“Two Good is doing the same, creating pathways back to independence and self-worth through hospitality.
“Bringing these two forces together felt incredibly aligned for us.”
Proceeds from every bag sol will be donated to Two Good to support its work creating paid employment pathways for hospitality in women impacted by homelessness, domestic violence, and complex trauma.
“Collaboration is at the heart of what we do at Two Good. This partnership transforms an everyday ritual into meaningful support, giving the women in our programs pathways to independence and opportunities,” says Two Good General Manager of Hospitality, Marlon Kigonya.
The Single O x Two Good Colombia El Tambo coffee is available through wholesale partners, Single O cafés, and online.
The label was co-designed by Lissy, from Two Good’s Work Work program.
