Coffee Prices Retreat As Coffee Makers Delay Brazilian Bean Purchases

Coffee prices Friday closed moderately lower, with robusta falling back from a record high (data from 2008).  A recovery in the dollar Friday sparked long liquidation pressures in coffee futures after the dollar index (DXY00) rebounded from a 5-week low and moved higher.
