Seattle, Washington — February 11 — Sustainable Harvest has confirmed that the next edition of Let’s Talk Coffee® (LTC) will take place on September 25th, 26th & 27th, 2025, in Lima, Peru. The theme for this unique, invitation-only event, “The Climate of Business & the Business of Climate,” joins two topics that are front and center across the supply chain.
LTC will provide a forum for open conversation to address the ongoing volatility in the global coffee marketplace and the financial impacts on producers and roasters. By having a space to discuss solutions, LTC attendees will learn how they can better weather the storm and innovate for the future. In addition, LTC will showcase the business-related tools that have emerged to mitigate climate change.

Sustainable Harvest is also pleased to announce that the Comisión de Promoción del Perú para la Exportación y el Turismo – commonly known as PROMPERÚ – will serve as strategic partner for LTC 2025. Under the auspices of the Ministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo (MINCETUR), PROMPERÚ’s mission is to contribute to the country’s sustained growth by promoting exports, tourism, and business investments, as well as the global image of Peru. PROMPERÚ is leading the effort to give Peruvian coffees and coffee producers more exposure in the global market, as evidenced by Peru being named portrait country for the 2025 Specialty Coffee Expo in Houston.

“As the political, economic, and cultural hub of Peru with a world-class gastronomy scene, Lima is an exciting place to hold this event,” says Al Liu, director of Let’s Talk Coffee®. “We look forward to welcoming producers, roasters, social lenders, certifiers, and representatives of NGOs and government institutions to this historic yet dynamic city. We’re also thrilled to be working with PROMPERÚ, as they have been actively promoting Peruvian specialty coffee for years and are a natural ally for Let’s Talk Coffee®.”

Ricardo Limo Del Castillo, PROMPERÚ’s Director of Export Promotion, stated, “We are pleased that an event of such great relevance is being held for the second time in Peru. Let’s Talk Coffee®, which highlights the importance of coffee as an alternative crop, contributes to generating income for coffee-growing cooperatives and communities and to promoting economic growth and sustainable development in the Americas.”

Attendees of LTC 2025 will intimately familiarize themselves with this diverse origin and its high-quality coffees as they build relationships with thought leaders. Through simultaneous language translation, every person who attends will be able to fully participate in conversations that rebalance the industry’s power dynamics as attendees chart a new course for the industry.

Michael Anthony Montalvan, general manager of the renowned Peruvian cooperative CAC La Prosperidad de Chirinos and an attendee of multiple LTC events, stated, “Let’s Talk Coffee® is a great opportunity for producers, buyers, and roasters to come together, allowing us to strengthen our bonds of friendship, as well as share different experiences and learnings to keep improving our practices day by day.”

The 2025 conference will mark the 20th edition of Let’s Talk Coffee®, making it one of the industry’s longest-standing institutions. Let’s Talk Coffee® is widely recognized for its emphasis on transparency and honest conversation, with no topic off the table. Let’s Talk Coffee® creates space for candor by building content around the perspectives of producers and roasters who have direct sourcing relationships.

Registration will open in late February 2025 at letstalkcoffee.org.
