Vietnam’s Coffee Exports In 9 Months Exceed Last Year’s Turnover – CoffeeTalk

Vietnam’s coffee exports reached nearly 4.4 billion U.S. dollars in the first nine months of 2021, exceeding the total turnover of 2023, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The nine-month figure increased by 40% compared to the same period last year, with coffee prices reaching an all-time high of 5,469 dollars per ton in September. From January to September, coffee prices increased by 56% year on year. Coffee has become the agricultural product with the highest increase in export prices. However, the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association predicts challenges in the 2024-2025 crop due to unfavorable weather conditions, with coffee output expected to decrease by 5-15%.
