Researchers Trial World’s First ‘Coffee Concrete’ Footpath: ‘A Major Step Forward’

Researchers at Australia’s RMIT University have successfully completed a trial for a footpath made from “coffee concrete,” a stronger and more eco-friendly building material that could help reduce the 165 million-plus pounds of coffee waste generated annually in Australia and replace sand in concrete.
