New Zealand Cup Tasters Championship sold out

The New Zealand Speciality Coffee Association (NZSCA) will be hosting the New Zealand Cup Tasters Championship on 6 August at the Sapphire Room, Poisonby Central, Auckland from 2pm to 6pm.

The sold-out event will see 36 competitors battling it out to see who will represent the country at the World Cup Taster’s Championship in Chicago in April.

Competitors will have to rely on their sense of smell and taste to identify the odd cup among a set of three in each of the eight triangulations, with the winner being the one who picks the most correct answers in the shortest amount of time.

NZSCA says the overwhelming response to ticket sales reflects the community’s enthusiasm and passion for speciality coffee.
