The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) is set to host the World of Coffee event in New Orleans, Louisiana, from April 9 to 11, 2027. This occasion will feature the World Coffee Roasting Championship, marking a return to the U.S. for this prestigious competition, which was last held in Houston in 2025, with the upcoming championship venue in 2026 being Brussels, Belgium. Stronghold Robotics, Inc. will return as the Qualified Production Roaster Sponsor for this event.

The World Coffee Roasting Championship is renowned for being one of the most technically challenging competitions in the industry, emphasizing excellence in roast profiling, precision, and sensory skills.
