Nestlé Professional to contribute $30,000 to support local communities

Nestlé Professional, in partnership with Rotary Australia, has launched the Serve Your Community Promotion, a competition that will provide three small businesses or community groups an opportunity to win $10,000 each to invest in a local community initiative.

The promotion is open to local community organisations from around the country who are seeking support for a project, initiative or program that will have a positive impact on their community.

“Local businesses have always been a part of the fabric of Aussie communities, often knowing their towns better than anyone else. We want to recognise these organisations by contributing to local initiatives that will serve and support their community,” says Nestlé Professional General Manager Kristina Czepl.

“At Nestlé Professional, we are proud to continue our partnership with Rotary to help support the people, businesses, and communities of Australia through Serve Your Community. After all, the communities of Australia power us too, especially ones like Gympie in Queensland, where Nescafé is made, or Smithtown in New South Wales, the home of Milo.”

The competition is now open and applications will close at 11.59pm AEDT on 24 March. To enter, participants must be a business, club or community organisation that has been operating for two or more years and have less than 100 full time employees. The online application form has four questions and requires an outline of the initiative the business would invest $10,000 in, to better serve the local community.

Entries will be judged on how the initiative brings together and celebrates a diverse group of people, has the potential for growth, and how it will have a positive impact on the broader community.

Ten other highly commended entrants will win a minor prize pack, valued at $1390 per prize.
