Nespresso Launches Coffee Honey Syrup Thanks To Bees Pollinating Their Coffee Plants
Nespresso has been working with Colombian coffee farmers for two decades to improve product quality and protect their land for future generations through sustainable agricultural practices. The company has been working with UBEES since 2020 to integrate beehives and monitoring technology on its AAA farms in Caldas, Colombia. This collaboration helps farmers become beekeepers, promote natural pollination of coffee plants, and increase earning potential for farmers.
Nespresso has sourced honey from bees pollinating their crops and developed a new line of sustainable coffee products, Nespresso Bloom. This pilot is part of Nespresso’s innovation strategy, aiming to protect the future of coffee while delivering a differentiated and superior coffee experience. The company offers two products: Coffee Blossom Honey and Coffee Blossom Honey Syrup, available in New York City and San Francisco at participating Nespresso Boutiques. The variants launch nationwide on August 21. Sustainability has never tasted so sweet.
