After the excitement of previous editions, the Athens Coffee Festival is making its grand return on September 27-29, 2025, at the iconic Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens, Greece. Organized by Forum SA and recognized as Greece’s largest coffee-focused event, the festival promises an immersive experience for professionals, enthusiasts, and anyone passionate about the craft behind every cup.
Whether you are a barista, roaster, or café owner, the festival offers a unique opportunity to connect with the coffee community, explore emerging trends, and gain inspiration from both local and international talent.

A Global Coffee Journey in Athens
This year, the festival welcomes over 110 premium coffee brands and celebrated Greek micro-roasteries, showcasing a remarkable range of high-quality brews. Attendees can taste espresso, filter coffee, cold brew, and coffee cocktails sourced from coffee-growing regions worldwide, including Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Jamaica, Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Ethiopia, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
The festival is not just about tasting coffee—it’s about understanding the story behind each cup, from the origin of the beans to the artistry of the baristas serving them. Award-winning professionals will demonstrate their craft live, offering insights into technique, flavor profiling, and innovative presentations that redefine the coffee experience.

Knowledge, Competitions, and Inspiration
For coffee professionals, the “Coffee Matters” seminars will feature 45 experts and market executives, covering trends, sustainability, and the science behind brewing. The Greek Coffee Championships will showcase top talent in Roasting, Coffee in Good Spirits, and Barista competitions, providing an exciting glimpse into the competitive side of the craft.
The festival also blends learning with entertainment. Attendees can enjoy stand-up comedy shows by Sofia Moutidou and Ira Katsouda, as well as live DJ sets from artists like CJ Jeff, Maggie Charalampidou, and Xenia Ghali, creating a vibrant atmosphere that merges coffee culture with music, food, and community.

Coffee As a Shared Ritual
Beyond the workshops and competitions, the Athens Coffee Festival highlights the ritualistic and social nature of coffee. It is a place where enthusiasts, professionals, and newcomers alike can connect over shared passion, exchange ideas, and celebrate the craft that unites them.
From street food to specialty drinks, to seminars and live performances, every corner of the festival is designed to ignite creativity and inspire dialogue within the coffee community. With entry starting at 5€, the festival invites everyone to be part of a multi-sensory celebration that reaffirms Athens as a hub for coffee culture in Europe.

The Athens Coffee Festival 2025 is essentially a return to the heart of Greece’s coffee scene, bringing together knowledge, flavor, and community under one roof. For those in the area, mark your calendars for the chance to experience firsthand why this festival remains a landmark for coffee professionals and aficionados alike.
