Investment NSW, the New South Wales Government’s agency for economic development, has teamed up with Purely Righteous Brands to give nine Australian beverage brands a platform at Coffee Fest LA in the United States (US).

Coffee and café brands rooted in Australian heritage have consistently broken into the US market in recent years, with Collingwood café Proud Mary successfully completing a crowdfunding campaign to expand its US footprint in Austin, Texas.

Coffee companies Schibello Coffee, Ministry of Coffee, and Vittoria Coffee will be represented alongside other food and beverage brands Madura Tea, Australian Native Products, Chai Me, T Totaler, Harvest B, and Cookie Man.

All nine brands, alongside United States brand Earnest Eats, are exhibiting in a fully branded Earnest Friends x Investment NSW pavilion.

“This collaboration is about connecting cultures through products people love,” says Americas Deputy Director of Trade for Investment New South Wales, Ari Newsome.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Purely Righteous and Earnest Friends to help these exceptional New South Wales brands break into the US market and showcase Australia’s premium quality and innovation.”

President of Purely Righteous Brands, Andrew Aussie, says the collaboration to bring more Australian coffee brands to the US market benefits all sides of the coffee retail proposition.

“We’re creating a bridge between Australia’s bold, better-for-you brands and the vibrant US coffeehouse scene,” says Aussie.

“By bringing their innovation, quality, and authenticity to American consumers, we’re giving coffeehouses fresh ways to excite customers, boost sales, and stand out in a crowded market.”
