Alternative Barista Smackdown Grand Final to crown Australia’s Alternative Barista 2023

After a national tour, The Alternative Dairy Co. has arrived at the end stage of The Alternative Barista Smackdown. The Grand Finale will be hosted on 15 June at Veneziano Coffee Roasters in Richmond, Victoria.

The finalists, including New South Wales winner Harry Lin, Western Australia winner Kadi Jayne, South Australia winner Rohit Pun, Victoria winner Junnie Phyu, and Queensland winner Jake Huang, will be showcasing their plant-based barista skills for their chance to win $10,000 and be crowned Australia’s Alternative Barista 2023.

Raising money for Tipjar, there will be mini events on the night and a lucky door prize for a chance to take home the ultimate home espresso pack including a La Marzocco Linea Micra, a Mahlkonig X54 grinder and a barista course from Veneziano Coffee Roasters.
