Milwaukee-based Octane Coffee has opened its second location in Brookfield and plans to open a third in Hales Corners by the end of the year. The fully-automated coffee shop, founded by Adrian Deasy, uses robots to handle every order. Customers place their orders on the Octane Coffee app, receive a QR code, and scan it at the window to receive their coffee. The app uses GPS to track the customer’s location and start making coffee at the optimal time for pickup.
