Grinders Coffee launches new education series – BeanScene
Fresh from hosting the third iteration of its Immersion Experience, Melbourne’s Grinders Coffee will be sharing key takeaways from the event through the Grinders Immersion Education Series.
The event held in Melbourne was invite-only and saw the roaster host 18 people from nine of its nationwide partner venues.
Included in the education series, which will drop in new instalments each week, will be insights into Australia’s coffee and café industry, including steps business owners can take to grow and thrive.
“This was our third year running the Immersion Experience, and it’s something we really wanted to look at as a way to see what more we can do for our customer base,” says Grinders Coffee Ambassador Jono Goldthorpe.
“We want to provide above-and-beyond support for our customers and look at how they can not only grow their business through coffee but also learn some tips and tricks to stay on top of current key trends in the market.”
Speakers at the event included former Grinders Coffee Ambassador, World Coffee in Good Spirits fourth-place finisher, and EXPAT. Coffee Roasters Founder Shae Macnamara; Yolk Group’s Kieran Spiteri to discuss meeting needs in different markets; and Cherie Clonan from Digital Picnic to talk about excelling in social media.
“The great thing about this event is it shows customers who we are at our core,” says Jono.
“We’re a passionate, coffee-centric business that has quality coffee and a team that genuinely wants to help grow our partners. Our scale is one of our strengths and we want to show what we can do for our customers.”
