Starbucks No Longer Fastest Growing Coffee Chain In America, According To Yelp – CoffeeTalk

Starbucks has been ranked 43rd in Yelp’s annual ranking of the 50 fastest-growing food and shopping chains. The company launched a new initiative in late 2024 to attract more customers, but it was not on the list last year. The majority of the 50 fastest-growing chains are restaurants and other food chains, with five being coffee shops. Scooter’s Coffee, a relatively young drive-thru coffee chain, ranked 10th in this category, with over 850 locations in the U.S., most of which are franchises. The chain earned its top spot in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Wyoming. Starbucks ranked only in the District of Columbia. Yelp’s analysis is based on net new business openings, consumer interest, and searches on Yelp. Other coffee chains in the analysis include Scooter’s Coffee, 7 Brew Coffee, Caribou Coffee, Starbucks, and Dunkin’ Donuts.
