Klatch Coffee Recognizes Woman-Owned And Operated Coffee Producers; Donates To “Grounds For Health” – CoffeeTalk
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA –
Klatch Coffee is recognizing woman-owned and operated coffee producers throughout March, in conjunction with international women’s history month (March) and women’s day (March 8). Klatch Coffee will donate 20% from the sale of each bag of Mujeres de Café (“women of coffee”) to Grounds For Health, an organization dedicated to providing crucial women’s health programs in coffee communities since 1996. Grounds For Health focuses on combating cervical cancer, a highly treatable yet pervasive disease.
To donate, consumers can make a purchase of Mujeres de Café online or at select Klatch Coffee cafe locations across Southern California.
“In our 30 year history, I’ve had the privilege to work with some of the best coffee producers in the world.” says Mike Perry, Klatch Coffee’s Roastmaster. “During women’s history month, we recognize the contributions of woman-owned and operated coffee producers like Lucia Ortiz of Finca Las Mercedes, and their rich history in specialty coffee.”
Mujeres de Café is a blend of three coffees from Ortiz’s farm in El Salvador, a longtime Klatch Coffee partner. Mujeres de Café is available now at: https://www.klatchcoffee.com/
