The popular Coffee Shoppe in Selma had an attempted break-in recently, which got owner Jackie Smith talking about safety and importance of curbing retail crime in Selma-Dallas County and the Black Belt. Smith talks to Black Belt News Network’s Todd Prater in front of the cafe on Broad Street in the heart of Selma, Alabama. She also owns a shop at the foot of the Edmund Pettus Bridge, Reflections.
