St Ali announces Mother’s Day Classic 2023 collaboration

For the first time, Melbourne coffee roaster St Ali is the major coffee sponsor for the Mother’s Day Classic (MDC) event held on 14 May across Australia.

St Ali will host coffee stands at the Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane events and has launched a new coffee blend called Sunday to commemorate the partnership.

“We’re incredibly proud of our partnership with the MDC, and excited to launch the Sunday blend as an ongoing offering in our range. A morning coffee is an important part of Mother’s Day traditions around Australia, and we’re proud to be able to support a great cause this year with such a simple gesture,” St Ali CEO Lachlan Ward says.

Sunday is a collaboration between St Ali and the MDC, with $1 from every bag sold being donated to the MDC Foundation in support of breast cancer research through the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

It features a medium body, mid-strength, and bright acidity, and is a blend of Colombian and Brazilian varieties, with tasting notes of marmalade and chocolate.

The MDC is a cause-driven community event. Every year, thousands of Australians come together on Mother’s Day to get active for breast cancer research. The aim is to unite and inspire the community, create a fun and engaging event experience, to celebrate and remember those touched by breast cancer and to raise life-saving funds for research.
