Woodlea offers free rent for three years for one café owner
Woodlea, one of the west’s largest master planned communities, is offering an opportunity for hospitality business owners to rent a café space, free of charge for three years, equating to about $200,000 in savings.
Located in an established community, adjacent to a draw card adventure park Aintree Reserve and jumping pillow, the indoor and outdoor space and fully operational commercial kitchen will serve the immediate community of over 13,000 residents.
“It’s really unheard of to receive three years free rent, utilities included, while having access to a thriving community of over 13,000 residents – a number that is set to grow rapidly within the coming years,” says Woodlea Project Director Matthew Dean.
“We’re excited by the opportunity available and strongly believe it will be a catalyst for growth for the successful operator; they have the opportunity to use learnings from previous businesses within Woodlea of what resonates with the community and where the demand lies.”
According to Woodlea, the opportunity will save the successful operator $50,000 in rent per annum for the first year, in addition to utility charges including water, gas and electricity. There is also an opportunity for a liquor licence renewal.
The current café space is available until September 2024, where the vendor will then have the opportunity to move into a larger 134 square metre space as part of Woodlea’s new flagship Display Village, saving $70,000 in rent per annum for another two years.
The vendor will also have the unique opportunity to collaborate with architectural firm Craig Tan Architects to inform the design of the space, and a branding studio to create a benchmark brand and marketing assets.
Open to different food and beverage offerings, Woodlea will work with the vendor to deliver the best model to service the community and broader Western region, with eligible candidates required to have previous hospitality experience and a track record of running a successful operation.
