Weird Brothers Coffee, a mainstay in the Herndon coffee scene, is anticipated to relocate one of its Herndon locations.

The veteran-owned coffee shop and roastery, managed by brothers Paul and Kenny Olsen, plans to relocate from Worldgate Metro Plaza to Worldgate Centre.

The current Worldgate Metro Plaza location is expected to remain open until at least the end of October, per co-owner Paul Olsen. In January 2021, it is expected to occupy the space vacated by Starbucks at 13035A Worldgate Drive.

Olsen wrote in a statement to FFXnow, “We are still going through the permit process for the new Worldgate location.” We have no idea how long it will be until we receive final approval to begin construction.

Weird Brothers is a veteran-owned small business committed to providing specialty coffee and espresso. It was founded by the Olsen family, who have a lifelong passion for freshly roasted, high-quality coffee.
