Unique Cannabis Caffe Offers Broad Range Of Infused Offerings – CoffeeTalk

Kanna Cafe, located in Wichita, is set to open this month as the first “infused cafe and consumption lounge” in the city. The cafe will specialize in legal, canned cannabis-infused beverages, including sports drinks, seltzers, teas, sodas, coffees, and mocktails. The menu of options will include products with less than 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight, such as “Highbrau,” “Feel Good,” and “Flyers,” which range from 2.5 mg for a slow & low newbie to 75 mg for more experienced users.

Harris, owner of KannaBliss, believes that the cannabis-infused beverage industry is rapidly growing and expected to continue to grow in the coming years. He plans to offer customers the opportunity to sample these products with knowledgeable staff, allowing them to find out if they are right for them. Kanna Cafe will have a series of “holiday-infused tastings” throughout December, followed by an open-air event in January. The cafe will start with a casual approach, with customers buying their drinks in the front and taking a table in the back. Harris will provide hemp-themed coloring books and games for customers to enjoy while at the cafe.

Once the cafe is up and running, it will be open from noon to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Harris envisions the cafe growing over time, adding table service and an expanded menu that will offer infused pastries and grab-and-go pizza. He also plans to start serving cannabis cocktails. The cafe will also have a back patio, which Harris plans to open in the spring, with seating and special events and activities.

Kanna Cafe is designed for different types of customers, including people who feel THC helps them ease pain or maintain health and the “sober curious” who are trying to find alternatives to alcohol. Harris made a vow on his recent birthday to stop drinking alcohol and now enjoys the THC drinks instead, including the margarita. His ultimate goal is to add a rooftop deck to his Hillside building and feature Saturday-morning tastings with “canna conversations.”

Harris, a longtime Wichita radio personality and agent for Landmark Commercial Real Estate, got into the CBD business four years ago and plans to franchise his Kanna Cafe concept. Kanna Cafe will serve canned cannabis-infused beverages, including seltzers, mocktails, sports drinks, and coffee and tea drinks.
