Specialty Coffee Company in the Berkshires Up for Sale


Paul Lovegreen, the owner of Tunnel City Coffee, has decided to sell the business after 32 years. The specialty coffee company, which has its roastery at Norad Mill in North Adams and two retail shops at MASS MoCA in North Adams and on the campus of Williams College in Williamstown, is listed for sale with Stone House Properties for $995,000. Lovegreen and his wife are looking to retire or semi-retire, and the listing includes all three locations. The company, which started in 1992 as Cold Spring Coffee Roasters, offers various coffee beverages, tea, hot chocolate, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and baked goods at its cafe locations.
