‘Seinfeld’ Fans Can Now Order the Show’s Official Coffees

The beans available for a limited time are now available for preorder online, eliminating the need to drive.

In comparison to other popular 1990s sitcoms, Seinfeld was not as coffee-centric as Friends. The latter’s coffee shop, Central Perk, is ingrained in our memory, whereas the diner where Jerry and George spent hours discussing nothing is less well-known. (For the record, the name of the establishment is “Monk’s Cafe.”) However, Seinfeld characters consumed coffee in that cafe. Similarly to how Friends has had a number of promotional coffee tie-ins, Seinfeld has finally acquired its own coffee beans. No need to transport them with comedians.

The Seinfeld Coffee Collection debuts today exclusively on BeanBox.com and features four distinct blends inspired by the four main characters of the show. Bean Box states that their curation team “scoured the nation’s finest independent roasters to select coffees that embody the complexity and dependable quirks of the iconic characters” for this limited edition collection.

Here’s a rundown of what’s available:

Jerry’s Diner Blend is advertised as a “smooth and easy-drinking Brazilian blend with brown sugar, roasted almonds, and chocolate notes.”

Kramer’s Giddy Up is an Ethiopian blend that aims to capture the character’s vitality with “notes of mango, papaya, and citrous” for a coffee that is “bright and light for an early morning wake-up call.”

George’s tranquilly Now attempts to soften the character’s “bitter” disposition with a “dark and toasty blend” that “brings some sweetness with molasses and bittersweet chocolate notes.”
