Pump & Grind: New coffee shop opens on Park Avenue East

Jessica Backensto fought back tears of joy seeing her new coffee shop, Pump & Grind, packed with customers Wednesday for her official ribbon cutting and grand opening. Backensto said she was inspired to open the shop, at 1290 Park Ave. East, because her sister lives in Vancouver, Washington, where there seems to be a coffee shop on every corner.
