Fairgrounds Craft Coffee and Tea employees have voted 4 to 1 to join the Milwaukee Area Service and Hospitality Workers Union, forming a bargaining unit of seven employees. The union aims to uplift the voices and needs of workers and preserve the community for future employees. Peter Rickman, president and business manager of MASH, said that unions can secure a living wage, job rights, fair hours, a seat at the table on workplace policies, and accountability for employers. Infuse Hospitality has not responded to a request for comment. Urban Milwaukee was the first to report the union forming.
