Colorado-based coffee shop announces Sioux Falls location among franchise signings

Ziggi’s Coffee, a rapidly expanding coffee franchise based in Colorado, will expand to Sioux Falls.

Sioux Falls is one of eight cities where the company plans to open locations within the next year.

In 2004, Ziggi’s Coffee was founded in Longmont, Colorado. Since then, the company has expanded to 62 locations across the United States, with an additional 120 shops in development. The chain celebrated the opening of its 50th location in May.

Smoothie King will open its first location in South Dakota at Empire Place.

“The decision to open a Ziggi’s was influenced by the company’s established brand reputation. Michael and Liz Minor, franchise owners in Sioux Falls, said in a statement, “Being raised in the Sioux Falls area and now raising our own family here, we are thrilled to interact with and give back to the local community.” This opportunity has allowed us to realize our dream and introduce something new to Sioux Falls. We cannot wait for others to fall in love with Ziggi’s coffee.”
