Atomo Coffee Named to Time’s List of the Best Inventions of 2022

SEATTLE — Atomo announced its selection as one of Time’s Best Inventions of 2022’s most innovative beverages. Time referred to Atomo’s beanless cold brew as “a shockingly close coffee substitute at a fraction of the environmental cost.” Atomo’s cold brew coffee contributes 93% fewer carbon emissions and 94% less water consumption than conventional coffee, according to the company’s claim.

“The Atomo team has spent the last four years developing the world’s best coffee, so it’s an honor to be recognized alongside such incredible innovations,” said CEO Andy Kleitsch.

Atomo Coffee has released three cold brew SKUs this year and continues to exceed consumer expectations in blind taste tests versus traditional cold brew options.

Time has released its annual list of the Best Inventions, which includes 200 life-altering innovations. The editors of Time describe the new list as follows: “The result is a list of 200 groundbreaking inventions (and 50 special mention inventions) that are changing how we live, work, play, and think about what’s possible, including life-mapping artificial intelligence, diamonds made from excess carbon in the air, and the world’s most powerful telescope.”
