Expat. Roasters Expands Into Indonesia’s Capital

70

Indonesia’s specialty coffee producer, Expat. Roasters, has opened its latest location in Jakarta, marking its first location outside of Bali. The 100 m2 wide coffee sanctuary, located on the 13th floor of the Mori Building Jakarta in Sudirman, Central Jakarta, will serve the entire building and the general public with a blend of modern aesthetics and warm hospitality. The store, which has been seven years in the making, aims to continue the company’s commitment to quality, innovation, and education by offering a diverse range of meticulously sourced and roasted coffee beans from Indonesia and around the world. The Jakarta store will also feature an all-day dining menu showcasing international dishes while celebrating local flavours and produce. The design was designed by WHAstudio in collaboration with Sydney-based X plus O Design Studio, aiming to create a fusion of contemporary aesthetics that transports the essence of Bali to the heart of Jakarta’s urban landscape.
