New Coffee Trade Show in New Orleans
New Orleans is the nation’s leading port of entry for green coffee beans — and provides an ideal setting for a Gulf South coffee trade show. Event founders have announced Nola Coffee Festival will be launched June 15-16, 2023. The Exhibitor Prospectus is now available on the festival website. Sponsors are signing up to support the educational program which includes topical tracks for roasters, baristas and coffee business leaders. Barista competitions are also being formed and a coffee related film fest is planned.
“We have 1,000 coffee industry jobs in the New Orleans area. Our festival seeks to celebrate our local industry as well as bring the key industry manufacturers abs suppliers to our community”, explains co-founder Jim Currie. We will give southern coffee a stronger stage and voice.”
Event organizers selected the New Orleans Morial Convention Center for two key reasons: space and sustainability. New Orleans is the first convention center to achieve gold certification in LEEDS for their recycling performance and sustainability innovations.
Day One is dedicated to coffee professionals. The speakers and exhibits are being geared to industry topics. Day Two will switch to a consumer focus as epicureans and affluent home food enthusiasts will become the focus.
