Belgium is set to host its first ever World of Coffee event following an announcement by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).

Between 25 and 27 June 2026, the international coffee community will descend on Brussels for the European leg of the World of Coffee tradeshow tour.

The event will be held at the Brussels Expo, with SCA CEO Yannis Apostolopoulos labelling the city’s location and status as an international trade hub as a key driver in its selection.

“Brussels offers an exceptional platform for international business and industry exchange. Hosting World of Coffee at this globally connected city strengthens our ability to support trade, foster collaboration, and deliver value to professionals across the value chain – all in service of our purpose to make coffee better for everyone,” he says.

BWT water+more will continue its longstanding partnership with the SCA and sponsor the event.

“As Event Host Sponsor for World of Coffee 2026, we proudly continue our support for the Specialty Coffee Association and all people working within the coffee industry,” General Manager of BWT water+more General Manager Dr Frank Neuhausen says.

The event will follow in the footsteps of World of Coffee Geneva 2025, which takes place between 26 and 28 June. The SCA says the Geneva event will feature more than 13,000 visitors from 150 countries, in addition to more than 430 exhibiting countries and 120 roasters.

The SCA is now accepting booth applications from prospective exhibitors for World of Coffee Brussels.
