I Never Liked Instant Coffee Until I Found This Barista-Worthy Version from One of My Favorite Coffee Shops
It is common knowledge that instant coffee is not everyone’s cup of coffee. When we were younger, the majority of us had an unpleasant experience with the red container’s contents, and we have since banned the quick caffeine fix. However, an increasing number of artisan coffee brands have changed the game and finally done instant coffee justice. If you know me, you know that I’ve been drinking instant coffee for a few months. Partner’s instant coffee was the first to change my mind about this type of coffee, and I haven’t stopped drinking the luscious blend since. Blue Bottle Coffee recently joined in by sending me their new Craft Instant Espresso, and I’m already due for a restock. It’s my new morning beverage of choice, and while it only takes a few minutes to prepare (mostly waiting for my kettle to heat up), it doesn’t taste instant at all.
This instant espresso’s aroma and caffeine content are both potent. I felt like the Energizer Bunny the first time I sipped Blue Bottle’s instant espresso. I completed all of my tasks and more in record time! The espresso comes in the form of beautiful crystals with a more robust flavor than conventional instant coffee. In addition, it is almost too beautiful to consume.
The jar yields 12 servings of consistently decadent coffee, hot or cold. While the instructions say to add milk to make it hot, I prefer to use hot water; however, you can use whatever you prefer! This darker roast is a pleasure to sip and smell, with notes of dark chocolate, molasses, and toasted malt. It gives my kitchen the aroma of a coffee shop.
If you’ve been considering purchasing an expensive espresso machine, you may reconsider after tasting this bottle of barista-quality goodness. It’s quick, simple, and tastes identical to your favorite coffeehouse’s cup. Additionally, you will save money because you will be less tempted to purchase that $8 latte every day. As you can see, my jar of Blue Bottle Craft Instant Espresso is nearly empty, so that is all you really need to know about it.
